Three Tree Point Polar Bear Plunge – Noon January 1st

Rain, Shine, Snow, or Freezing Rain… Burien residents are ready to take on the new year with Three Tree Point’s annual Polar Bear Plunge on Wednesday, Jan 1, 2025 at high noon!

Join your neighbors at the Three Tree Point south beach for a frigid frolic in the Sound! Be sure to bring your towels, protective footwear, blankets and other warm “after-plunge-wear.” (This is NOT a California beach!)

Parking is tight, so, if you are driving, be sure to arrive early. South beach is located at the intersection of Maplewild Ave SW and SW 172nd Street.

Costumes are welcome – and encouraged – at this family event! There will even be a costume contest for the favorite plunger. Will the winner be most creative? festive? zany?

See you there, Burien Polar Bears!
