Lighthouse Northwest in Des Moines assists families in breaking the cycle of domestic abuse. They invite everyone to their upcoming “Celebrate Events” to help support this worthy cause.

Lighthouse Northwest, with the support of many community members, is helping break the cycle of domestic abuse and assisting families to create lives they love. (1 in 3 women will experience domestic abuse…..a seemingly overwhelming situation, but the program at the Lighthouse provides hope and help!)

CELEBRATE EVENT:
October 19, 2024 at 6-8:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6 p.m.)

Tickets: $40 admission (includes 1 drink)
Live music, live painting, delicious charcuterie, and stories of life transformations. Donation requests will be made at the event.
DES MOINES CREEK PARK RUN:
A 5K Run on October 19 at 9 a.m. at Des Moines Beach Park Event Center
(22030 Cliff Ave. S. Des Moines, WA 98198)
Registration is $45.00. Participants receive a T-shirt while helping local families break the cycle of abuse and build thriving lives they love!

ONLINE AUCTION:
Northwest Lighthouse is holding an online silent auction. This auction will close the Celebrate event. Auction starts Sept. 27 at 6:00 p.m. and closes October 19 at 7 p.m.

RAFFLE INFORMATION:
Two-night stay at a Nisqually Nest cabin (valued up to $485), a $100 Gift Card to Copper Creek Restaurant, and a Self-Guided Driving Tour of Mt Rainier National Park- Total Value up to $600!
Voucher valid for two nights up to $485, including taxes and fees at either Nisqually Nest Mt. Rainier Cabin or Li’l Finch Mt Rainier. Winner is responsible for any amount over $485. Cabin stay is valid until June 30, 2025. Drawing will be held at the conclusion of the Celebrate Event on October 19, 2024, Des Moines, WA. 100% of the net proceeds benefit Lighthouse NW.
