BURIEN – Early Wednesday, gunfire erupted in the parking lot of El Pique a Peruvian & Mexican Restaurant at 14445 Ambaum Blvd SW. Burien deputies arrived just before 2 a.m. and found a man shot dead inside a car.
The King County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit is now investigating, searching for witnesses and security video. No suspect information has been released.
El Pique sits only a few minutes from Seahurst Park and Seahurst Elementary School, where the surrounding neighborhoods are normally quiet.
Police say the scene remains active and more details will follow.

This is not surprising given the past issues tied to that restaurant and it’s clientele, it’s wild at closing time there.
