Medical Examiner Releases Identity of Missing Burien Man, William Robert Webb

Late afternoon on February 19, 2025, the remains of William Robert Webb, a 58-year old man, were discovered in Burien. On the afternoon of February 21, the King County Medical Examiner released information, including the identity of the deceased.

On Wednesday afternoon, Burien Police were called to the camp site, which was up the hill from SW 160th and Fourth Avenue SW, in close proximity to a Burien off-leash dog park and Lakeview Park. The tent was found beneath a heavy layer of brush.

According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, the date of William’s death is noted as September 1, 2023, however, the cause of death is pending and circumstances are currently under investigation.
