The Highline Public Schools Board of Directors will hold a Regular Board Meeting on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting takes place in the Boardroom at the Central Office Building, 15675 Ambaum Blvd SW, Burien, WA 98166.

- Pacific Middle School Replacement Project – Approval of an interlocal agreement with the City of Des Moines for street improvements.
- Policy Revisions – Updates to:
- Policy 1111 (Oath of Office)
- Policy 3232 (Parent and Student Rights in Surveys)
- Policy 3250 (Student Records)
- Special Education Contracts – Agreements with Sunburst Workforce, CHILD, Emerald Learning Center, Heartspring, and Overlake Specialty School.
- Learning Assistance Program (LAP) – Approval of $250,000 in Readiness to Learn Partnerships with community organizations.
- Student Transportation – Contracts totaling $4 million with Everdriven and Hop Skip Drive for McKinney-Vento qualified students, plus supplemental services with First Student.
- Electric School Buses – Acceptance of a $696,970 grant from the Washington State Department of Ecology and approval to purchase two Thomas Built Jouley electric buses, in the total amount of $834,249.00.
- Salary Schedules – Revisions for represented and non-represented staff for the 2025–26 academic year.
- Facilities Projects – Easements for the Tyee High School replacement project and Central Administration Building improvements.
Introduction & Action Items
The board will consider items introduced and voted on the same evening, including:
- Superintendent Evaluation Themes – Approval of focus areas for the 2025–26 evaluation.
- Puget Sound Skills Center Aeronautics Program – Resolution in support of the partnership with the Museum of Flight.
Introduction Items
The Board will also introduce items for review and future action, including:
- Updates to Policy 3210 – Nondiscrimination
- Purchase of custodial supplies for 2025–26 through WCP Solutions
- Declaring district vehicles as surplus property for sale, with proceeds to the Transportation Vehicle Fund
- An easement agreement with Highline Water District for the Valley View Early Learning Center replacement project
- Final closeout of the Sylvester Field turf installation project
