Highline Schools Closed on Tuesday, September 10 due to Ongoing Investigation

The Highline School District announced that “all schools will remain closed on Tuesday, September 10. All school activities, athletics and meetings are canceled. Central office will be open.”

They acknowledged that while canceling school is a “significant disruption for our families and staff,” it was due to student safety concerns. They also stated that “we have not seen evidence of staff, family or student information compromised. If this changes [they] will notify impacted individuals.”

They will share more information as it becomes available in their ongoing investigation of “unauthorized activity in [their] technology systems.”
